Lauryn Hill:Matriarch of Hip Hop

This collection addresses how Lauryn’s subjects/followers are music artists and fans from many generations that use hip hop music as an outlet to express emotions. Mainly emotions about African American culture and female artists in particular that pay homage to her. My collection is inspired by the masculinity vs. femininity that is shown in Hill’s style over the years.
